TLOP had some of his best lyrics though. Saint Pablo, NMPILA, Real Friends, 30 Hours. I really feel like if he'd have been on his short album wave then it'd have been a top 2 Kanye album.
Since 2016...that's the only solid thing left.
I bet your breathe smells like a can of chunky soup boiii
KSG is the exception but I don't think Kanye has the ability to develop ideas in full the way he used to. Even looking beyond the substance-less lyrics, the songs themselves on JIK have great cores to what should be fully fleshed out tracks and yet they're not for whatever reason. It's concerning that demos like Law of Attraction, Selah, and The Storm sound more finished in terms of structure and production than the ones on the actual album.
