I do think black artists should speak out on ICE because it's affecting black people. The common misconception (even irl) is that it's only affecting hispanics.
Black people showed up and voted against this, we warned people about project 2025. We did our part in an actual tangible way but because our rappers arent speaking out we gotta get attacked for not soeaking. Lets really get to the meat and gravy of the situation, people voted for trump because they thought it was gonna be mostly black people getting abused by ICE based on the Haitians eating cat stuff he was pedaling.

Imo it comes from the expectation that non black artist speak for themselves but black artist and genres are expected to speak on EVERYONE.
I brought up Bad Bunny and your first thought was to say he speaks up on ICE when my question was like the thread title about Epstein because it didn't even factor in your mind that he would have to speak on that.
