Ryan Gosling has really entered his commercial/Ryan Reynolds phase of his career, he had a good run
His old lady just turned 50. Gotta stack some checks for the nursing home.

He was doing the same s*** from Barbie and this in The Nice Guys. He's a talented comic actor, especially physically.
Ryan Reynolds honestly got f***ed over by RDJ. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang was the last time the quip s*** was cool. Marvel made it unbearable. Ofc, it also made Ryan Reynolds a huge star in its wake. I don't think he minds. He's not a good actor.
That said I don't think this will be a great movie or anything.
a couple weeks ago i saw this trailer again and something different clicked, and i decided that this could be good.
hope this isn't review bait.
I can’t trust this jaded f***er lmao
I saw it.
I was charmed.
It’s big and cheesy but it knows what it is and it works. Pacing goes crazy.
👍
Sub Gosling out for Renolds or someone like that and you realize why that man is royalty. He chose to go Indie. He could have been a movie star at any point.
I had a really great time with this. Great stunt work, good chemistry between Gosling and Blunt, and I love that this film highlighted the people who work on film productions themselves over actors and producers. Not to say actors and producers are the worst, but a lot of movies about movies emphasize them over the film crew.
It’s not a perfect movie but a great summer blockbuster.
