i wish they developed an Illuminati smh, not in this movie but just sometime before Doomsday
So Franklin might take the role of Molecule Man for doomsday
Seems so. The leaked conceit art for Doomsday/Secret Wars looks more credible by the day
Sue lowkey the only character in this. She’s the center of the best moments of the film, from the space chase to the speech to the final battle and all of her dialogue revealing her thoughts about everything. Everyone else had vignettes of a character at best, being vessels to move the plot forward and support the only real character of the film
Thankfully everything and the performances were good enough for the movie to be just…eh cool. Solid 7/10 movie

I always felt the best way to do team movies is to focus on one character’s arc (2 at most) then ideally the sequels would focus on a different character
GOTG did this well imo
Galactus felt reduced to a walking giant in the end.
Shalla-Bal was awesome
7/10 movie.
Edit:
As of recent, I’d rate superman 5/10 and thunderbolts 6/10
Comic books movie has a long way to go still
This whole argument perfectly sums up who Reed is
facts
Saw it again today, someone else said it first but the score when Sue dies sounds nearly identical to Tony's funerals score
Enjoyed this more the 2nd time around
And it felt even shorter? Lol

Same, felt like I blinked and they were already fighting Galactus
The new silver surfer go crazy

Director’s Cut actually necessary
Director’s Cut actually necessary
deadass, ik the director recently said the vfx work needed would be too much but i wish marvel let him cook up something like a directors cut or prequel
yeah they butchered his fake crying here
I'm not a big comic guy but wasn't Reed heavily nerfed here? I was kinda thrown off that Galactus could stretch him out that easily. He even had better stretching powers in the old movies
I'm guessing, visual language wise, Pedro is the "Tony for this other universe" and Robert as Doom is like the complete antithesis of that? Could be cool
I'm seeing people complain that Galactus's motivation for wanting Franklin would be unclear to non-comic readers.
I'm a casual comic book fan, but don't know much about the F4. It wasn't clear to me what exactly Galactus would do with Franklin, but I didn't think it mattered. I think it works because the F4 don't know what he's going to do either. So both the characters and the audience are forced to speculate what would happen to the baby if Galactus got him.
That said, can one of you tell me what he actually wanted?
