Solid 7/10. Wasn’t extraordinary, but it didn’t need to be. I can see why it reminded people of early MCU movies in the same vein as something like Thor 1 or GOTG.

Only realistic reason I can see for them not showing Doom’s face is they’re about to do a rug pull and give us a different actor entirely. That or they’re just dumb as hell

The new theory about him changing his face to Tony is weird and convoluted I don’t think that’s the case. I think he’s using magic to pull at Franklin’s powers to see what he can do with them.

Remember the Latveria’s leadership gone. Victor is so vain that he’d never send someone else to make decisions for his nation. That was 4 years before the post credit. He’s been out doing Rabum Alal and Black Swan business. The 4 years gone was probably 20 for him like in Hickman.

i def thought they were gonna jump to another galaxy based on when they were tryna escape from galactus that first time

feels like they kinda pulled their punch the same way they did with ant man wiping kang

whole movie feels like it’s every idea of reed’s not working and silver surfer telling them to flee

One gripe i have is about the technology and its presentation. I get they wanted a fully permeated 60s aesthetics with advanced tech in that style. But maybe they should have had reed’s lab be 90s-00s like. Make it look 40 years in the future to show how far ahead he is. Could have had a funny moment with Mole Man when he sees it too. There is redemption opportunity in Doomsday. He could immediate when landing in 616 state operating their 2026 tech or whatever with ease. If he makes a stupid “how do i work this?” joke, ill rage in the theater.
