My Controversial Opinion is that it has the ingredients of a great Kanye song but they don't come together in the way that a truly great Kanye song does

Just say the song is great man.

that is a respectable amount of time but all the geezers i know that had CD when it came out get whalloped with the entire weight of their life and experiences (not just as kanye fans) when it plays. maybe younger fans aren't quite there yet.

I get that, the lyrics are definitely relatable and probably the best part, it's the most open and universal Kanye's been in a while, I don't really like the brief digressions into stuff like North wanting Nikes, but that's very Kanye

Like it's still one of the best tracks on Donda, an album I really enjoy, but I feel like if Kanye was in the Masterpiece Mindset like he was in the MBDTF era, the song would be unbelievable, as it stands it's very good IMO, but it doesn't hit quite the same as something like Runaway or even Ultralight Beam

Pablo last time Kanye felt like Kanye

This, it’s a beautiful song but something is missing

Counting Moon as a great Kanye song is kinda weird just cuz he’s barely on it

Ghost Town is one of the best Kanye songs ever

Since this song and Pablo was released, it’s been one coulda been after another and it’s ok to admit it.

    The run was great.

I like Hurricane a lot tho.

Imma let you finish but Donda was one of the greatest albums of all time
