I actually prefered ROTF when I was a kid but on a rewatch like a year or two ago I was like

Yeah like I have nostalgia for it in a weird way due to the movie soundtrack, the video games, the BK toys, etc, but it was clear from leaving the theater that the franchise would never get that mainstream love from audiences like it did in 2007.
Especially since the first Transformers was a pre-MCU blockbuster
