WB and DC are better off just stop trying to be Marvel and just do one off films like Joker and Reeves Batman
Man of steel so great
look what we got now
The only other one that got me that hype besides Snyder cut, and I gotta admit it was pretty close, was suicide squad 2
Man of steel, Snyder cut, and ss2 are the only ones that I loved
Man of steel > Snyder cut > bvs ultimate > bvs theatrical > whedon cut
Snydercut > BvS: UE > Man of Steel

There we go

I need to see suicide squad 2
Bro what
the final act of Man of Steel really rubs me the wrong way. I don’t really know why tbh. I just didn’t care for the fighting I guess idk. I wish I knew how to explain it. Clark scenes / moments in MoS are definitely some of my favorite comic book movie moments ever though. I just wish I loved the ending of the movie as much as the beginning & middle. something just feels missing
i used to think Man of Steel was an amazing movie. rewatched it last year and holy s***. the first 2/3 of that movie is boring as f***. the the last 3rd is way too much s*** goin on
I need to see suicide squad 2
Truly a breath of fresh air. Felt like hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy or doom patrol or some s*** like that. Actually different without being "le zany" for the f*** of it
im withholding judgement on the whole erasure of ZS’s universe / films until I see the movie or hear a lot more about it.
it does seem that it is following through with the rumors as Keaton is the Batman in Batgirl so i mean idk.
I truly wish The Batman series was able to be the beginning of Batfleck’s journey as batman. always thought that could have been ideal. that way we have artistic freedom and a DCEU while also having a stand-alone batman film franchise that is taken completely serious
i still dont see the BvS and civil war connection tbh
And lets say its true, marvel still made a way better movie
Even a captain america movie is more talked about than a batman vs superman movie which is crazy
how do you not see a BvS and Civil War connection...they legit the same exact concept
might as well call it Iron Man v Captain America: Dawn of Infinity War
throwback to the original DC slate:
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," by Zack Snyder (2016)

I don’t want to hit them with that but

Maybe you right Snyder cut rubs me the wrong way for many reasons including thinking it would be radically different from whedon cut when it has some story beats I hated in whedon cut
how do you not see a BvS and Civil War connection...they legit the same exact concept

no i meant i didnt see how bvs influenced civil war but i was wrong bc russos confirmed it
BvS made Civil War happen
Feige got scared with the destruction backlash from MOS and had to retcon the number of people dying on Avengers 1
Come on it’s obvious marvel copied
I loathe BVS and fw Civil War heavy and it’s clear as day lol. Like exact plot beats too
