I don’t see it being talked about but I’ve never seen live screen adaptations of Batman that feel so much like variations of comic Batman - from both Affleck and Keaton - which stood out. And ofc the fighting and action choreography plays a huge part. But even their performances were different from the previous times they played the character

Like when tf did Affleck ever come off this effortlessly cool as Bruce Wayne? Andy Muschetti clearly has a genuine love for the character and understanding of how he should come off if there’s nothing else to take from it

Overall thoughts: The Flash is just a weird ass movie all around. Not particularly good or bad, unmemorable, feels incomplete, has no identity yet it has charm and there’s some really great moral values and legitimately touching moments

It doesn’t inspire any desire to closely a***yze it or anything like that…it’s just kinda there and that’s it
