"Physical albums" on usb sticks and can still come with packaging and whatnot is a fire idea
I can see it being sold as special occasions on artists sotes or whatever, as long as YOURE ABLE TO MOVE THE FILES YOURSELF TO STREAM PLAYER
Sell a cd box and a usb inside yet you still get the booklets and coverart and whatever 🤔
Ain’t no way on earth I’m putting that into my computer
Randsomware on the Tesla 😈

Id buy so many of these
especially if with cassettes at that $5 cost too
I can see so many local hardcore bands doing this in the future

Itd be cool for like collector sets too
Like illmatic anniversary set comes with a vinyl, cd, tape & also the usb
It’s a neat idea but I think its strange too. I think a lot of the appeal of owning physical media is the nostalgia and tradition. I would always rather a vinyl over a usb stick. But Im just one guy, who knows what other people enjoy. I guess it’s a way to own psychical media in a relatively convenient way. (But you can always download a song and save it to one lol)
Depends on how its priced and presented
I can see physical media returning once streaming prices inevitably go over $20 before the end of the decade.

They're already about $20 if you count ad-free services
