Americans more often had unlimited SMS packages with their contracts so iMessage spread easier

Outside the USA it was often cheaper to do internet-based messaging than SMS

I think the main whatsapp users in the USA are immigrants who message back to relatives and friends in their home countries

Also it's hilarious that a lot of our moms and aunts and grandmas use WhatsApp Status (kinda like IG stories) as their main social media

I have an iPhone for work and an Android for personal use. I think iOS is boring and find Android a lot more fun to use. Never had any issues with my iPhones, they work fine and are decent tech. Don't get what the hype is about or why people would be elitist about them though. It's just tribalism.

Might get a Z Flip 3 5G when the price comes down, I like phones that stand out.

I think when the Blackberry messenger elitism died,people had to find something else to be elite about,so they chose IPhones/blue messages. Now i cant imagine someone being serious about blue/green text (except some HS Kids)because IPhone has a low end just like Android does lol.

Fold comes off to me like "if your looking for something more then a phone" that thing is basically a tablet. Flip3 is just awesome though,it takes you back to a time when phones use to be a bit more serious and didn't look like total toys.

Looks like im doing something important on my phone at work when my phone is folded even though im on KTT lol. It looks kinda like an expensive pager from the 90s from the back too.

Still enjoying tf outta the Flip 3 btw,its a slight head turner when i look at the lil display screen when i get a text and then open my phone to answer it lol. People are down for something new phone wise but Apple just has folks by the balls.

Just pre-ordered the Flip 4 for $100 trading in my Flip 3 as a result

Finally got the Flip 4 in my hands today,ready to use. I may have had this thing for 2hrs and i can say,right from the jump,the Flip 4 feels better in my then the 3. The glossy Matte finish on the whole phone also feels nicer,more premium then the 3. Its also thicker,which is a nice touch cause that extra heft makes it fit better in your hand.

Hard to tell whether the device is a complete step up from the 3 right now but this phone is definitely much smoother then the 3(looks and feel wise)

Yup,i don't think im going back to Apple(for phones) until they release a Flip/Folding phone. Alot of 3 users are gonna say "the 4 is the same as the 3" until they actually hold one. Usability is way up on the 4. And then you have the flex mode feature that lets you occupy two screens on certain apps(you can actually turn the bottom screen into a trackpad now and browse the internet point and click style like an actual computer).

The fold revolution is definitely upon us bro
