Sure, there's nothing wrong with thinking "damn, I do a lot for my kids and they don't have any appreciation for it". But at the end of the day that's a disconnect between you and your children. Maybe they're s***heads, or have been turned against you, or are holding something against you. Whatever the case may be, I still think as the parent in that dynamic it's up to you to deal with the situation in a mature way and publically venting doesn't seem very productive.

I feel sad for Game that he's in that position but I think parents sometimes understate the negative impact they can have on their children and think they are owed respect and gratitude because they provide financially.
