Jan 21KojimboOne thing I like about this album is something a lot of people clown Game for, the references and name drops. It can get obnoxious on later albums but as someone who grew up with this album I found it fun whenever I’d check out older rap and discover the original artists and lyrics Game was referencing
I remember going out of my way to check out every album mentioned on the title tracks hook
As a foreigner i agree w this heavily lol, title track alone made me got into hiphop heavily plus i was using rapgenius to understand who is who and i was a eazy e stan before i was a game fan so all that name dropping and respect seemed nice to me
Jan 21Social media showed us how corny dude could be but this nigga could rap his ass off and has one of the best discography in rap. Both albums and mixtapes.
