Ric Flair is trying to make things right after a series of scathing Cameo reviews went viral—and he’s now offering a refund to one especially unhappy customer.

The WWE Hall of Famer found himself under fire after fans accused him of phoning in his pricey Cameo videos. Complaints ranged from mispronouncing names to appearing drunk and delivering barely-coherent messages. This is something that only went viral after Ringside News provided detailed coverage of the whole controversy, as it took the wrestling world by storm.

On January 12, 2026, The Nature Boy addressed the backlash directly on Twitter and revealed he’s willing to reimburse at least one fan who reportedly dropped nearly $1,000 for a botched Cameo.

“I Wouldn’t Want Anyone To Have A Bad Experience As They Keep Pouring In. So To Make Things Right, I Am More Than Happy To Reimburse The Person That Seems To Be Unhappy With Their @Cameo. Please Reach Out To My Law Firm In Boston — Hartman Law. I Apologize For Not Addressing This Sooner.”

Cameo profile, raising eyebrows among fans. One furious user said he paid $600 for a Christmas video from Flair to his dad “Buff”—but got a slurred shoutout to “Barf” instead.

“Yo I paid 600 bucks for Ric to sit in a restaurant blasted out of his mind and say my dad’s name wrong… I’m super disappointed. I would’ve got someone who actually puts the effort in. For 600 bucks to a regular person that’s a lot of money.”

Another devastated buyer spent nearly a grand on a wedding-themed message for his brother, only to have Flair slur his way through a promo that told the groom to stay with his girlfriend instead.

“After spending nearly a GRAND to have someone my brother admired enough to have tattooed on him, wish him luck on his wedding. I would have expected Ric to at least browse through the notes ahead of time not read it word for word the first time and MOST definitely NOT tell him he’s making a mistake and to remain a ‘gf’ because he was so f*cked up he could barely speak right. What would’ve be a great gift ended up being ‘the worst thing he’s ever been gifted.’ Unbelievable!”

  • careful with that liquor moving forward all

  • If you buy a Ric Flair cameo and not expect him to be drunk, then you have more money than sense.

    Dumb f***s.
