So they ask me…why you call it Late Registration, Ye?
Because we taking these MOTHERFUCKERS BACK TO SCHOOL!

leaps and bounds my favorite album ever. remember hearing heard em say for the first time as a kid and i don't think i ever had a song hit me like that, still remember the feeling nearly 15 years later. heard it soo many times front to back but i still listen to it in full at least once every week or so
and bring me down might be the most underrated kanye verse ever
dog, if i was you, i wouldn't feel myself
dog, if i was you, i'd kill myself
Ye's first 5 albums are all classic though.
So with that being said, to each their own.
Calling LR "Kanye's TPAB" means you weren't outside when it dropped so we can't take you seriously. Diamonds From Sierra Leone is literally the greatest lead single ever.
Yea that was a risky take
But I loved ye in this era even tho I was a yute
Rt tho when I said that I wasn't thinking about how the album was received by the public more how the album stands out in the discography of the artists. Plus they're both sophomore albums.

everybody feel a way about k but at least you feel something
So crazy a Rap album even exists like this especially in 2000s
Who tf would have thought orchestral, jazz & soul would be a good mix to throw on top of Rap. Almost all of it is live original or live rerecordings of samples instrumentation too.
S*** is such a musicians album. A true "artsy" album without trying too hard or off putting.
S*** is amazing. Making all those layers work with Rap vocals couldnt have been easy at all.
Mixing & structuring must of been a nightmare but thank God it worked. A type of intricateness that Rap has only been able to access more in the early to mid 2010s, but still not touching it.
Album is so complex & deep but Kanye & Jon made it easy to digest & welcoming.
Once in a while lifetime album forreal. Truly special.
well said
