16 years later and Chicken Talk still slaps Timeless music.
this is no where close to even being in the conversation for greatest mixtape oat
There's many but i feel like this amazing tape before Kendrick hit the masses is significant enough to be mentioned
I can hardly say half of the stuff that'll get mentioned in discussions like this is s*** i can agree on, given how much music there is and how much taste and nostalgia bias come into play

This + No pad and pencil are his opuses to me

Add Gucci Sosa to the list and we're on the same page.
Never could decide so honestly both.
You ever listen to Juicy’s tapes before he linked with lex but after three 6 broke up
Play me some pimpin and RNITG

Absolutely

Those 2000s zaytoven beats back when he actually used synths instead of making every beat orchestral
No make up is trash so I feel you but besides that sxn80 always felt like a beefed up to OD to me
Michael Jordan is a goofy ass song too
That's true, Michael Jordan is super mid but at least not as corny as No Makeup even though it is def obnoxious
Ab-Soul & ScHoolboy Q always were my favs off TDE anyway, but the former has never came close to Control System (i believe his upcoming album will finally be on that level again though) and the latter has an amazing discog so far but Crash Talk was a mid attempt at commercial succes so we'll have to see how Q bounces back from that

Gucci and Zay were the southern equivalent of Snoop and Dre. If you didn't grow up on this you'll never understand. Right out the muthuafuckin mud. Get it how you live.
If we REALLY stretch the defenition of what a mixtape is (and i'm admitting to reaching hella hard with the defenition)
Then it would be this no questions asked
But yeah most people probably do actually consider this to be a studio album

It’s not about personal preference you are just objectively wrong. There’s about 15 G Unit and Dipset tapes alone that are more significant than this
One of the last classic tapes with this format
This project was bittersweet for me bc it lowkey marked the end of an era
S*** really shifted with SFG

All i'm saying that when it's music there's no objectivity anyway, especially in a genre like this where we turn into an oldhead by the time we in our early 20s and our opinions don't even matter anymore to the new generation moving in
Also i can't take it serious whenever someone says another person is ''objectively wrong'' when it comes to topics like this lol
Even though G Unit and Dipset did have the mixtape game on lock for sure
The tape is an all time classic
But I feel in Wayne’s catalog it gets slightly overrated by the people who missed out on Drought and Dedications and this was the first Wayne tape they got in real time (no ceilings was a lot more known by normies/general public)
I used to be like this because No Ceilings came out when I was in middle school
I didn’t get into pre-C3 Wayne like that until I got older. But I still think there’s no wrong answer between D2/DD3/NC. Gun to my head I’d say DD3

It is objective. Those tapes objectively were more important and had a greater impact that OD. Nobody cares about OD like that.

Word I’m pretty much in agreement there DD3 was the one for me

It’s a group album/compilation kind of thing, kind of a different category. Like Cruel Summer or Eminem’s Re Up or We Are Young Money
Not a studio album for the main solo artist but definitely not a mixtape

It's not objective, maybe if you live in New York Like i said the generation of artists that's popping right now and their group of listeners probably don't care or have strong opinions about either of the ones we mentioned
You were the one comparing something out of the blue anyway. I consider all 3 artists to be of a huge impact in the culture
