Yea this a snooze fest. They literally just packed almost every generic ghost story niche right into this series.

I smell a cancelled series.

Just finished. Not as good as Hill House, but worth a watch

Not scary and just a few suspenseful moments, but it's worth a watch.

It's nice, except some episodes in the middle which are slow.

Hill House better though.

finished last night. last couple episodes are way better, but it is still miles away from the first season

I was really wanting something more like Hill House, not the love story thing. But I still digged it. Very well written, great acting and the ending reveal (Although I knew it) was great.

Would love for Flanagan to go full horror on this next one with spirits/ghosts that actually be killing people throughout the show, kind of on the level of The Haunting or House on Haunted Hill type of s***.

he's doing another show that he's directing as well called Midnight Mass - hopefully it'll be more horror

Not as good as Hill House, but it’s enjoyable. The performances are outstanding and I really grew to like each character (once given context).

Episode 5, Hannah-centric has to be my favorite. The Henry episode as well as the black and white episode were also very strong.

The twist surprised me, even though I saw it coming. Hated the last 2 minutes or so, felt too on the nose. However the final scene was touching.

Hopefully we get another season and personally I wont mind if it’ll be something different yet again.
