This is a quick and simple guide on how to buy memecoins, specifically solana memecoins since they’re blowing up and will be the ones that dominate this bull run cycle.

Disclaimer: This post isn't going to be on what memecoins you should/shouldn't buy bc that’s a whole other subject that will get it's own post later on.

With all that out the way let’s get started.

Step one: Telegram

Telegram is essential to buying memecoins. That is where all the action happens and where you will use your Telegram trading bot.

What is a telegram trading bot?

It’s an automated trading application that exists on telegram that is used to buy and sell memecoins. It’s not as complicated as it sounds and it’s actually very easy to set up and use.

There’s multiple trading bots that exist but I (and many others) use a trading bot called Bonkbot for solana memecoin trading.

Once you have your bot set up, know how to make a transaction and have some funds loaded up you are ready to get started.

To find memecoins I use this site dexscreener.com/solana there you will see all the trending and new memecoins. You can also look in memecoin telegram groups, discords and twitter or maybe even this thread if I (or others) decide to drop some plays.

That's what you need to start trading solana memecoins. Of course there's a bit more you need to know but the important thing is just getting familiar and comfortable with using telegram and the trading bot. Any questions I will gladly answer and try to help you out with.

Solana fees are almost nothing, it costs no more than 1 cent. $250 is more than enough to get started.

a few weeks ago i bought a coin through raydium and lost a majority of my sol through the conversion. still don’t understand how or why i lost so much but it turned me off from these sol coins. someone said it’s something about the slip

would using the tg bot prevent this?

Raydium is just too slow at making transactions and you usually have to use higher slippage in order for it to work. No one should ever use it imo.

Tg bots make instant transactions and doesn't need much slippage in order for a transaction to go through so it's a lot less likely you'll lose money.

wish i knew that sooner. gonna get this set up in a bit. will the bot allow me to convert my USDC on raydium directly to the platform that the bot is running on? i can swap back to sol on raydium but i'll lose a majority of it. i've already considered this a loss but just curious

No you can't swap from usdc to sol on the bot. Just keep your slippage as low as possible when swapping.
