there too many people on ktt who aren't black women idk why everyone speaking on what she says about her experience as a black woman

  • Jul 18, 2020

Hypocrisy lol. You acting like she led the jokes. I didn’t know about most of these.

  • Jul 18, 2020

Maybe that's the problem, black folks are too comfortable with joking about their own people dying and getting hurt. BM or BW we should stop taking black pain lightly.

I think Meg's issue was the fact that she was shot so negligently over what was likely some petty bullshit, and she feels as if people's lack of value and respect for black women was a contributing factor. Not that people made jokes about it, as the internet will inevitably do to anyone.

I mean, I don't think Mr. Lanez would have pulled the ratchet on Kylie Jenner, so it's hard not to see her point.

So you want us to make fun of Megan for being in a traumatizing situation because other artists in similar situations get made fun of ?

OP really just compared Megan’s situation to white women weaponizing their privilege to antagonize people

I think what he was saying was that this isnt exclusive to just meg but celebrities as a whole, we clown them when tragedy hits them for some reason lol

Keep in mind folk. there are also tasteful jokes about serious matters. It is not the jokes that are harmful but people actually being serious and still saying sexist bs.

The way I see it, its weird to make fun of women period

With men basically anything goes, just the way it is

This is such a s***ty way of thinking.

"Women are fragile creatures that must be protected at all costs, but f*** men"

Your post sounds like you're co-signing it rather than making an observation.

But this is some all live matters ass mentality

This is literally what white people say when there’s a black lives matter situation gaining traction

Meg was in a f***ed a situation, we’re supposed to ignore that because other artists were made fun of in their times of distress ???
