I feel like people like him and Scott Adkins established themselves in that independent martial artists/action network which is kinda detached from mainstream Hollywood and rarely venture out. Him not being in any of the Expendables movies is f***ed up.

Just feels like we're hitting a threshold with that, since audiences are starting to see more movies like John wick again, let alone FOR those same b-movie action guys like Scott Adkins and (not b-movie but still primarily action) Donnie yen

Might be something more to it, I dunno. The fact that he had to crowdfund for his new movie was odd given Black Dynamite success.
