The problem is that this flow is simply too good. I legitimately have a hard time going back and listening to his prior projects because I crave that sweet, sweet squeal. He’s doing wonders with this sound but it’s making his older songs sound dated. Is Carti doomed? Will he burn himself out getting higher and higher until he’s nothing more than a human dog whistle?
