I hope he doesn't do an EDS manuver and ask for ownership in Spotify. But as long as he owns the podcast IP. I think they could get a huge bag.

So that’s 2 one hundred million dollar+ podcasts/podcast networks that have moved to Spotify exclusive since JBP Boys essentially launched their Podcast wing. Interested to hear Joes take on that but I doubt we get it. Them boys definitely gone in the summer here’s to hoping Hov swoop em up on Tidal. Joe will make the point I just made and demand some wild high number. Spotify won’t give it. He’ll do the whole process over again

I bet you at the very least Joe is getting 1M guaranteed and crew getting 500k +

Apple and Google (Youtube) have a s*** ton of money. Joe Rogan and Bill Simmons getting the bag from Spotify is definitely turning heads and will be a wake up call for the big companies. One thing I know forsure is that JBP will definitely get the bag. Not as big as Joe Rogan I dont think, but they will get the BAG. Excited to see how this unfolds.

yeah their show is funny. I avoided it when it was mainly youtube but when I learned it was on spotify I started to check it out if had things to do but no JBP to listen to. I like that Andrew is the opposite of Charlamagne when they talk politics and controversy... He's actually pretty reasonable and makes a lot of sense while Charla is very emotional. I hate listening to one-sided discussions.

When I think about it, lowkey jbp should leave but they'll get lowballed anywhere except revolt but nobody tryna see them on there
There's something to be said about being #1 on the platform you're exclusive to though. They'll kinda be sonned by JRE now

I feel like BI started getting sidelined by themselves when Charlemagne's controversy hit a year or two ago. But now I listen to Andrew's podcast (F2) as a supplement to JBP. He definitely isn't always sensible in the discussions but that's the point, it has the level of spice that I feel the JBP used to carry
