you’re right, it is BS that was created to hurt the perception of our people at large.
i was using it for the sake of the convo but i’m not even gonna validate it by saying it anymore even in that context
Nah dw i wasnt getting at you for using it cos it was to make a point but the media/press/journalists need to stop using it
Towards the end of his life, like 2 weeks iirc before he was assassinated, he gave an interview with NBC, pretty much regretting integration. He said he felt like he led his people into a burning house.
The problem with segregation though, while it's true it would make the black community ultimately way more self-sufficient, we'd always have major set backs like Tulsa, and the Harlem Riots.
But that's the thing.
if the gangsta rap energy we had for each other was diverted to preventing another Black Wall Street type situation from ever taking place again from the 80's onward, all the problems we have would have fixed themselves. Given that we never integrated and still in our own communities
Mal is a parrot. His only real personality trait on the podcast is mild homophobia.
glizzy gobbler detected 🚨
mals bias against 50 is so f***ing trash breh. man still in shambles cause 50 went against jay and some other roc artists.
Not to mention Mal being such a Ross stan and 50 having Ross beef but it counteracts Rory's 50/GUnit d***riding so its all good
Remember when Mal barely said anything and Joe would get mad that he never talked? Now Mal talks his ass off and gets rocks thrown at him

Maybe. But I think government interference would've undoubtedly been working against the black community as best it could. Instead of being insidious like it is now, it would potentially be more overt. I think America would mirror South Africa a lot more if integration never happened. Hell Raegan was a supporter of the apartheid regime.

Mal attempts to add Ross into ANY rap conversation
Joe Budden’s weird ass half laugh that he does after sharing an observation is so corny
Are you talking about the noise he makes that sounds like a car trying to start but can’t?
Remember when Mal barely said anything and Joe would get mad that he never talked? Now Mal talks his ass off and gets rocks thrown at him
High socially anxious mal was crazy
Weird thing is the same people that bring up black on black crime is doing nothing to help those communities. They well versed on the issues but has no solution nor offers any help in the matter. I keep telling people don’t fall for that blacks don’t care about us killing each other narrative. You can easily see community outreaches to combat neighborhood violence if you took the time to research

bringing up black on black crime solves nothing. violence is directly linked to poverty. it’s not a mindset people gotta get out of, it’s a broken system
Does Mal really believe that the people who in the streets saying black lives matter the same people killing other black people and he still doesn’t understand that crime is intraracial.
Peep how they just changed the name of the podcast lol
Feel like this might be an explanation for all the tension w Joe these past few pods lol
