Joe and them being biased s*** is funny cause Joe is actually the only out of the hip hop media dudes that actually has any sort of history with Drake so of course he's going to be biased when he's the same one that did the Views rant, sent 10 diss tracks at the guy, dissed FATD, gets posted on Drake's IG, gets a whole ass essay on IG, gets called a d***sucker lmao.

Gillie, Cam, Mase, Fat Joe, Jim Jones, and a few others were pretty biased against Kendrick but for some reason were speaking the truth and were objective

Joe at one point knew Drake was special and hence filmed + built an early relationship with him.

However. Joe rap career stopped going anywhere. Much to his own doing by always beefing and being his own worst enemy.

He wasnt consistent nor had enough compelling content for his Youtube channel.

He ended up doing reality tv and got by receiving checks for it.

He pivoted into podcast pretty early and was consistent. One of the first hip-hop podcast so to speak, that didnt just do interviews but talked about other stuff as well. Struck gold with his Views rant and went viral. Capatalized of it, becoming one of the more influential people within hip-hop media.

Dude is scum though who has f***ed over so many people in the process. Not to mention all the past stuff relating to him.

Anyway, he stopped liking Drake when he wasnt just the young artist that was a fan of his.

And Drake + Tahiry probably didnt sit too well with him.

He figured out a way to go viral and went from there.

Joe at the end of the day is a super narcissistic person, where anyone is disposable as seen multiple times.

I know the lore and all that. I just don’t think it’s as serious as the stans make it out to be when it comes to them downplaying their bias cause, like I said, damn near all these platforms had their biased takes but Joe’s history with Drake makes his stance mean more than someone like Gillie ranting about Drake killing Kendrick

I like that Ish had his Drake bias even if he doesn’t want to admit it (ironic cause Joe and them don’t admit their’s so it’s basically a circle of false objectivity). It made that whole thing more fun than everyone being on one side.

I kinda skimmed cause I knew it even if it’s not from a drake stan perspective. I just think both stanbases (and Cole’s) are hilarious post beef

these guys fully picked a side and spent a lot of their podcast time s***ting on drake because they thought he was done for. its shameful how they're tryna still act like they're objective arbiters of truth

I’ve listened to this podcast since the beginning, the only rapper they’ve praised more than Drake is Hov.

They’ve had long segments of breaking down his songs and albums , giving him his props.

They’re fans of Drake, not stans.

Just because they think he lost a battle doesn’t mean they’re not fans.

Fandom doesn’t mean 100% praise with no criticism.

It’s obvious that you haven’t listened to the pod since the beginning.

If you think they have to praise everything Drake does to be “fans”, then you’re right. They are not fans lol.

I dont really understand your point

Joe seems to have many motives to hate on Drake

    And clearly biased against him

That his thoughts or opinion can also be bought is not a good look either, as he has allegations in doing so with TDE. Having Punch on the pod in the midst of that is pretty hilarious or even stupid from him.

He must not care how it looks, or it is just his way of being petty and using his platform as a weapon towards Drake... as that is the only way he can get to him these days.

I just don’t think it’s that deep tbh. I think Drake stans been going hard with the whole victimization of Drake thing that they ignore that the same logic could be applied to other platforms and talking heads whether it’s streamers, podcasters, or rappers/former rappers.

Yeah, no this just doesnt apply to Joe that you are tryna spin.

It is literally that deep in this case, with different things and history spanning damn near 15 years.

You tryna smooth it over is disingenuous.

    Ice is just nasty lol

Comes in off a night of tweeting about Chris Brown instantly confrontational at even the slightest sound of negativity and proceeds to ride d*** for 30 minutes. Rapping along with Glorilla and Sexyy Red chipper as hell lol

Chris Probably hasn't been up there because he sees Ice's groupie ass worship him all the time lol
