Takotchithat know your worth s*** only matters if there's an actual exit strategy. iunno what Joe and Ian doing off the record when it comes to contract negotiations but there better be something in the works or this is some clown ass s***. I can't tell if these little pod announcement countdowns are particularly aimed at Spotify to let them know how long they have left before they dip or what because this type a s*** ain't normal to me, to just kinda be airing this s*** out like have some grace my nigga goddamn. lol
Like I know they going through it and all and especially with Rogan gettin a biggie bag they brad as pitt but they sound like sum f***in housewives in that b**** crying about where they're chartin and at least a solid 5 episodes about them not making million dollar deals. I dont think niggas really wanna hear that s*** tbh. It's one thing to know your worth but that makes more sense if you're the everyday man like working some job that's demeaning to you and doesn't have your best interests in mind. Joe talking like these Spotify niggas don't have the numbers right the f*** in front of them unable to literally calculate their worth concurrently and in longevity.
Always thought it was uncomfortable to be subjected to their contract negotiations like we have been. Feels like it's gonna backfire in the sense that Joe probably thinks it's smart negotiating and puts more pressure on them, when in reality it may turn out that Spotify doesn't even care to go back and forth and are okay with Joe leaving
I personally feel like even if they continue on as they've been doing, with or without Spotify, the podcast needs to take a couple of weeks off and maybe retool a little
But yeah the public negotiating in general feels like some s*** that I wouldn't want any part in as a company doing business with someone else. It's a defining character trait of Joe tho

the way they've been promoting joe's youtube makes me think they're gonna use that space more often in the near future
gotta be honest though
i feel like they are too industry at this point
maybe it was always destined to happen
but i don't get the same feeling that i used to anymore
it'll be interesting to see if anything changes once the dust settles
