Then after that, after the podcasts covering the BLM and protests, we got the countdowns signaling when the pod was making its exit. you can put two and two together bro they laid the s*** out on the cutting room floor here on the latest s***

and it wasnt just Rogan, Joe said the prime celebrities coming into the podcast space, your Amy Schumers, your Michelle Obamas, they were f***in up the bags for people whose jobs are podding and trying to really come up off that.

im just saying my whole problem is that these niggas didnt really need to come on here and discuss this s***. should just leave with some grace and keep s*** pushin. this s*** was just not a professional look to me, like at all. a content creator is always open to criticize their platform but they made this more personal than it needed to be.

He’s out performing The Ringer though, so this take doesn’t make much sense to me? They can supplement losing him sure, but I feel like you’re phrasing it in a way that the ringer brings more value.

Spotify doesn't seem to have the best business sense as evidence by how they handle artists and their own employment (rap caviar, people like joe) and cater to celebrities who didn't build their platform (rogan, amy schumer)

360 deal s*** is that Spotify is trying to play common music industry games and Joe's been through that so he sees through it

Next step seems like they're going back to youtube. People think they might do a Patreon or even an onlyfans type joint. I have no idea

by their platform you're referring to Spotify right? implying that Joe's podcast helped build their platform podcast-wise?

for the 360 part, how would Spotify gain from that? they're not a record label lol so what shares/profits would they get? forcing Joe to do ads?

lastly, how come before the Spotify deal, the music audio wasn't cut off? is that strictly a youtube thing due to their videos not being monetized? if they didn't care about not making profit off youtube, I wish they'd bring the music back. I dont even watch em on youtube anymore

I think less about how they handle share/profits and moreso how the contracts themselves are laid out that are scust

for that I really wanna say there might have been a period in time when they discovered how severe and brain dead the youtube copyright bot system is. I wouldn't be surprised if they got striked before and that's what led to the change

I read somewhere that Joe allegedly spoke about the audio cutting on an episode once. if he did, I wouldn't know which ep it was.

also, lol I wouldn't join the twitch community just for Joe. part of the reason I got Spotify is the access to music. I aint a gamer like that
