Am I too naive in believing this network move was last-minute and kind of a bad look? As fans we've been telling Joe to do something like that for a minute now, but the fact that it came right after C's announcement and the entire public debacle makes it feel like Joe is only now doing it as a means of keeping up.

Like, is it just that one other podcast they've announced? It doesn't even feel like they're purposely slow-dripping the signees as a marketing strategy. Just feels like they're brainstorming and signing shows in real-time.

But again I'm genuinely asking; am I wrong in feeling that way? All-in-all I hope this works out for him

Idk if you’ve been following it recently but Joey is moving his family back to his hometown in NJ. Instead of trying to continue the podcast, he’s doing a patreon of just him.

My problem with D&M is they never cut their comedic teeth on a stage, only the Internet. What they do is no different than YNS only that they commit to jokes much more frequently. I remember when Melissa McCarthy was on their Viceland Show and tried to do improv with them and they were godawful. I saw them live and it was like two random dudes from the street just talking.
