I think it's more so that he wants Rory & Parks to reveal/talk about their own perspectives or stories about the topic he brings up but gets upset that they wanna argue about semantics & dodge the topic

Rory can challenge if it is personal to him or if he believes he is right. But yeah, he quick to follow Joe sometimes too though. Like Park headass.
