The thing is though that whatever tension is there can't be from a monetary standpoint, pivotally. Maybe. I feel like whatever issues could arise between these three are with Joe only.

And tbh I don't think Mal even has a problem. Mal has seen likely just about every side of Joe and he's still around. Nothing new under the sun for him. It's really just Joe and Rory. They're too often on they man s*** and want to just brush off the strain in their dynamic as if they won't inevitably butt heads again. This has not been a prevalent thing. Rory and Joe used to go back and forth on topics, but it's never come to a point where they honestly debated fist-fighting, unedited, on the show. lol

Rory's problem with Joe is that he doesn't know how to let other people's opinions on a matter live because he's too busy turning everything into a debate while also screaming "IT'S MY OPINION." And it stifles conversation and dialogue. Rory should be allowed to say what's on his mind, on the platform he co-hosts, and should honestly co-own, without Joe coming in with some snarky-ass retort that does less to challenge his opinion and more to just kick dirt or shut down whatever he's saying. It's goofy asf

And Joe's problem with Rory is him being mad confrontational lately, and that's purely a recent development and Joe's fault. Rory's only issues before now was making jokes that didn't land sometimes.

and knowing Joe he probably did say they needed a vacation. I don't see why that's so unbelievable lol
