joe told rory to take a week off (2 pods) because there was tension/rory kept saying he wants to fight joe on air
rory and mal leave for 6 weeks
they come back like nothing happened
podcast is awkward and joes going in on them saying you couldnt do that anywhere else and says he doesnt owe them respect. mal is still upset about joe continueing the pod with others instead of not pausing
they take a week off
nobody knows what happened
its rorys birthday and joe doesnt call or text him
rory and mal dont attend todays episode
joe roasts them for 2 hours and fires them

mal was never a cool guy. idk why people ever fed into that. i've only ever seen clips of the pod so maybe that's why, but he always came off as a standoffish loser to me
