I mean it can be hard when it just happen. She might have planned on not doing anything and just quit and be done. Maybe she had more time to think about and that usually can make people mad. Resentful. The more you think about it, the more you wanna scream. Especially if you feel belittled or embarrassed that it happened. Hey, it might not be a bad thing either. Maybe it will also stop him from doing it to someone else.
Not the same thing at all but I was in a car accident a few years ago. Traumatic experience take time. We all deal with stuff in different ways. Took me awhile to be able to speak about it with people.
