I agree with this POV. Everyone just takes things out of context and confuses what I said as me hating. I just found it ironic especially since Rory and Mal hated on Joe attempting to create a network and claim they hated podding. Additionally, they wouldn’t be starting from the bottom as they have their own followings.

While there are are obvious advantages of a deal like this. I still think they have the ability to do this on there own. It is my opinion that they receive the majority of benefit here. For KD I personally don’t see much value if they solely pod in the regular format. They will have to come with a unique take that brings something new to the realm.

Audiences will get burned out listening to similar hip hop opinion pods. I do think there’s room for everyone to eat and make money but the content across the board is starting to be the exact same.

They should at least do a few episodes before partnering with someone. That way they have the ability to gain more leverage and get a bigger bag. But then again, sometimes the first deal is the only deal.

I really think they’re going to try something different with this, the teaser they put out says episode 1 on it, maybe it’s going to be like a video content series that incorporates podcasting. Rory mentioned he was podding and shooting video content with people on his album maybe they’re taking that approach
