Hmm I don’t wanna be too much of an ass bc I do understand it but it just seems like Tarantino puts Avery on because they’re genuinely homies who have the same taste, not because he’s the greatest filmmaker. I didn’t know anything about their history of than that Tarantino produced and co-signed Killing Zoe, which I always thought was an obnoxiously blatant Pulp Fiction ripoff.
