No matter what the sample is, this is gonna amplify your 808 to next level. Here is the sauce.

• First you EQ an 808, which I wont explain but you all should know.

• Then you put a compressor on it with a high attack ratio so more bass information is let in, with a short release time.

• Now for the sauce... Use the Amp plugin with the stock preset "Jazz Fat". Turn the reverb off, turn the treble and mids all the way down, but turn the bass as high up as you can to your taste. This instantly gives you the strongest possible bass, all for free.

This s*** makes my car rattle, which was always the goal. Now sometimes your 808 is gonna need some more tone to it so you can just Overdrive to boost that while turning the drive off.
