Always in for John Woo and the original "The Killer" is easily one of the best action movies of all time and a personal favorite. No expectations of this holding a candle to the original or any of his films from the late 80's early 90's but we will see

Michael Mann did it the right way with Heat. It was originally a TV movie starring unknowns. Once he made a name for himself he remade it with a bigger budget starring two of the biggest stars at the time

Devastated to report that this is a big snoozer big ol' dud Of all the films Woo chose to re-examine, I can't understand why he chose this one. Pouring these resources into tracking down the original negatives to the original 1989 version and releasing a restored 2k/4k or a limited theater run would have been sick .

I would never in a million years even think of having the gall to POTENTIALLY want to throw this on. Honestly even more so seeing that Woo himself directed it, because this grasping at straws somehow feels worse than a hollow IP sequel/-boot for moneys sake. That nigga is senile, and f***ing bugging.

The Killer OG still has barely even been touched, let alone topped. The f*** was the plan here? On any front? Not the stars you'd want considering the popularity of the OG. Worst streaming service to back it. John woo directing again after years of duds.
