SA1 sees Odeon towering above him 10 ft on one of the scrapeyards small construction buildings, blood running down his face, the air around him smelling of iron. His silhouette is vibrating and distorting the surroundings. He only glances at him for a moment before he looks back at his confused comrade again.
Turn 3 D12
Eye-Kyu who's still on the scrapeyard sees you jumping up on the building, he starts chasing after the rest of the fleeing part of the group "Don't do anything stupid Odeon..." he mutters before starting to sprint again.
The rest of D12 also keeps on running.

It's now Fougeres turn
@LuJo @barrymc @Ignance_ @Odeon @Hollewood
(Should I quote you already Holle or wait until you're in the game?)

But i have blur
we’re near death and talking about who’s stronger
the absolute state of man
Ait. Holy s*** you're reading fast as f***.
How you like the story so far? Would interest me as the GM.
Lmao @ discussing who's the strongest.
Really hard to say, since the Damageoutput exceeds your HP by far. And Elori decided against many defensive spells during the level ups, so it could be a though one. Would probably come down to luck as who get's more hits in first.
Gonna celebrate the Posada now with a local indigenous community, super excited!
Will be back in a few hours!
The f*** you're working that you've got that much time?
You're in IT or some administration job?
Watch @Hollewood solving all the open questions because he read through the ish in one run
I keep heading straight down. "Shit, Odeon you better pull this off man. Jeffrae stay alert okay? I dont know how safe we are yet"

Fougere still running alonside Porter, Biz, and Kuniva, they're getting away, slowly but surely they'll be out of the enemies sight.
Jeffrae tells you that he understood.

Gonna roll SA2 in advance, since he will only be running west until the end of his Turn anyway because of fear.
SA2 Wisdom Saving Throw (Fear) vs Eloris Spell Save DC (8+4 = 13): 9+2 = 11 Fails
Lmao, the poor f***ing guy.
So it's Barrys Turn now and Elori** right thereafter.
Barry crouches next to Elori. "We gotta move south. I'm gonna move down and drop a smoke bomb, then I'm gonna try and blind one of those super-soldiers. Stay close to me, I'll take the hit if anyone tries to fire at you. And remember to drink the other healing potion I gave you (1d4 + 3)."
Barry moves south 30ft and drops a smoke bomb vial (bonus action). He then shuts one eye and points his index finger at SA1 like a gun; Toxic particles in the surrounding air concentrate in to a drop of poison at the fingertip, and Barry fires the Cobra Shot at SA1's eyes (Hit d20: 19 / Damage 4d4: 13).

I nod and down the other draught as quickly as I can (1d4 = 2+3 = 5)
I slide out from under the rubble scooting back, and take my staff, plant it in the ground and use it to try to support my leg so I can stand and move @Ethic (lmk if i have to roll for that)
I’ll try to follow Barry

Barry aims well, knowing that it could be the last time he sees one of his comrades if he misses this shot. The concentrated greenish blob of poison impacts SA1 face directly, who just turned around to see the cloud of smoke appear in the distance.
He holds his face in pain, as the substance is dropping down to the concrete floor in front of him.
Finally, the attacks are showing some signs of effect on SA1, he tries to keep balance while swiping the Poison off his face.
SA1 takes 13 points of Poison Damage and is blinded until next turn
A blinded creature can’t see and automatically fails any ability check that requires sight.
Attack rolls against the creature have advantage, and the creature’s Attack rolls have disadvantage.
(Totally forgot you had this spell, crazy)

No it's fine, you don't have to roll for that.
Elori Stats: Health Points: 9/42
Turn 4 Soldiers
Soldier Nr. 4 can't see what's going on below the bridge because of the heavy smoke, he keeps on trying to save his comrades.
Soldier Nr. 13 sees the devastation that has been caused and loses the will to fight, he runs towards Nr. 4 and also starts doing first aid on his comrades.
Turn 4 Coochiemane
Coochiemane wakes up from his unconscious state "Ugh... what happened... everything hurts...", Tariq above him helps him to get up "Come on man... we gotta go..." he helps him to gain balance and both of them start heading towards the south.
Turn 4 SA1
His vision is all blurry, still trying to get rid of the poison in his eyes he let's go of the idea to attack Odeon in front of him again, instead he chases after SA2 to make him regain his senses.
Turn 4 Tariq
As described before, Tariq supporting Coochiemane who's having trouble keeping his eyes open, as the wounds flickering in green slowly lose their glow, heads south, following the rest of the squad.

It's now Odeons Turn
If you also decide to flee we'll end the battle and return to free roam mode again, since the Soldiers won't be able to keep up with you if you rush away now and you've covered your retreat well with the weaker non-untouched members already being way down south and Barry having covered Elori and his escape with the Smoke Bomb
I flee no doubt
The whole squad moves south for about 15 minutes, it doesn't look like there's any pursuers following you immediatly.
The wounded aren't looking good at all and it's slowly getting dark.
Coochiemane is spitting blood everytime the greenish aura around his wounds flickers in and out of existence, Tariq is more or less dragging him with all the strength he can muster, while Coochiemane is trying to walk with whatever strength he has left.
It's 17.00 pm now
Porter looks at the state all of you are in "We need to find a place to rest... again... we can't go on like this for much longer... we'd be f***ed if we run into another caravan again..."
Biz nods "You're right."
Eye-Kyu agrees and comments "Well at least they can't use that highway anymore, so they probably wont be able to send reinforcements from the north all to soon."
Kuniva looks around the area "Up there! The traintracks! And the passaic river! What do we do?!"
Porter contemplating "We need to decide whether we find a spot here or whether we continue to press on... What are y'all untouched saying? I mean... there wasn't much we could do last fight... it all depends on how y'all are feeling..."
There are around here seems calm, you only hear some loud grumbling noises to the north-west where you first encountered the road block. It seems a lot more noisy to the east, flashes of light can be seen far off in the foggy sky.
There's several locations around the area, as far as your eyes can see.
There's an Amtrack Station not too far off, you'd need to walk over the traintracks to get there (A).
On the other side of the river you spot some office buildings which look pretty much intact, but you'd need to cross the river (B).
There's a narrow bridge with traintracks leading over the Passaic river, beneath it a rusty looking large cargo-ship is anchored (C).
A bit farther to the south of the Amtrack Station is an assortement of Cargo containers (D).
Or you could also decide to follow the traintracks and head farther east (E) either north or south on the traintracks to look for more options.

(I just put there 4 of you in there to indicate where the squad is, everyone is there tho)
Healing Draught and Minor Healing Potion removed from Eloris inventory
speaking of the river i was the one who wanted to do it and y’all said no.. look where it got us..

The two options were to sneak around or go down the highway to save time. You wanted to go down the highway, which had the greater risk of us being spotted.
Also @Ethic, I have a suggestion for how to handle stealth checks for the group. Right now all it takes is one person to roll poorly for everything to fall apart, even if everyone else passes the check. I think it would be better to have everyone roll a d20 and then use the average result to determine whether the group fails or succeeds.

@barrymc Thanks for the suggestion. I'll keep it in mind for the upcoming encounters.
Discuss where you want to go boayzzz
"We've got way too many injured with us to press on, we should definitely find somewhere to rest. I can get us across the water to the cargo ship or the office building pretty easily. I'm more inclined to the ship; it might have some resources to help us get back on our feet."

I nod.
"Barry is right. We should hole up in the ship. We really need to rest up and device a plan. Maybe from now on we should scout ahead with like 2 people then move on to avoid confrontations like this."
