Biz fist bumps Odeon "Ait my man... we gon order something together if this plan of yours is going to work and you've fixed everything. What food do you have in mind?"
Eye-Kyu shrugs his shoulders "We could eat the provisions they gave us, I think Porter handed out one to each of us." he goes for his bag and takes out a tupperware "should eat this anyway before it get's bad, some rice, beans, sweet corns and slices of tomatoe, guess the government has some garden where they grow the ingredients close to NY."
Biz sighs with his stomach grumbling "Well.. better than nothing... but man no meat, what would I give for a Rib Eye..."
Kuniva chuckles "You think they're able to raise cows, chicken or pigs in this mess? Guess we'll be vegetarians for a while."
Biz gets up to grab his provisions he left inside the ships bridge "Yeah yeah... whatever.."

Tariq smiles at Odeon "Always feels really good when you play the flute, I'm sure we'll get back on track in no time." then he turns on his earpiece "Barry, Fougere you guys said there's some beds on the survivor deck right? I'm probably going to sleep now if no one needs me for anything else. You haven't seen any other spiders down there right?"

Biz looks at you with widened eyes "Hell yeah boay! But it has to inside Detroit, I'm not leaving that town, you have to know I'm a loyal man... we could open one near where the joe was before they tore it down... maybe even rebuild it... s*** that would be cold as hell if the reds would play again around there and people would come ear our ribs before the games... yeah..." he reaches out for a handshake "Let's do this... but we'll have to see about the name... something more creative..."

Kuniva chuckles "Well that sounds way more humble than continuing with your 'rockstar life'", he puts some sarcastic emphasis on the last part

Biz gives him a mean look "Man.. at least I tried... I wanted to keep going after I left you guys... keep strifing... "

Kuniva mimics his facial expression "Man... I did too.. but you know what did you expect... we could've never stepped out of 'his' shadow... we already made our mark long ago, we would've never reached those heights again... you know the culture is our life, we won't stop, except... if we find other interests, right?"

He turns towards Eye-kyu who's eating, he just rolls his eyes at Kunivas question.

Biz also looks at Eye-Kyu and comments "Yeah man... you just completely vanished... if I didn't took the effort to find yo ass way before this whole apocalypse happened on some Sherlock Holmes s*** you wouldn't be here with us."

Eye-Kyu stops eating for a moment "Yeah and I'm thankful for that... not always... but sometimes... I mean I could just be sitting in Detroit with the other survivors, chilling in a cozy shelter and probably no one would know who I was... but go on with the restaurant."

Kuniva continues talking to Biz "Just couldn't imagine you Biz out of all of us wanting to get a normal job..."

Biz scratches his head "Man... I don't know if there will be even the opportunities to lead that celebrity lifestyle again after this whole adventure... look how f***ed up everything is, it will probably take years to even rebuild the country. Rather hand out some food than snorting coke without b****es around to properly enjoy it."
They both laugh and also start digging into their provisions.
Eye-Kyu adds "Wonder what Fuzz is doing... hope he returned to Detroit before more reds or the loonies we saw swarmed the region..."
Biz nods "He's fine hopefully..."

The time passes, do y'all eat anything in the meantime don't you eat anything for dinner? (Have to know because of the exhaustion counter)

I respond to the earpiece. "No spiders yet, sleep if you want but youd be best off having someone keep watch for now. You never know what's lurking". I laugh after this, fully aware that it isnt even wrong

“The note says we need welding equipment to get the electricity working, I’m sure one of us has an ability that could get the job done. I’m heading back up to get some air and bring everybody up to speed.”

Barry returns to the bridge of the ship and eats the rations with D12 and party.

“There was guy holed up in this ship who appears to have been dragged out by something with super-strength. He was trying to get the electricity working so he could contact a ‘Yasin’ on the radio; does that name sound familiar to you?”

(Actually the note says "need to confirm to HQ that the ship is running once I succeed", but dunno if you phrased it like this on purpose but ait. Yasiin is mentioned in ", if Yasiin stands correct with his sensing abilities and 'he' really is there it will be a long journey to the south")

The whole of D12 who's been chilling outside seem really surprised
Eye-Kyu who's been calmly eating his food almost drops his fork "Wha...? The note mentions Yasiin? Could it be...? Porter! come over here take a look at this"

Porter who's been inside the bridges office comes out "What is it?"
Eye-Kyu points to Barry "He just said they found some evidence that the guy was trying to contact Yasiin, do you think it's our Yasiin?"
Porter scratches his head "Well... if it's just the name it could be anyone, but remember Krayzie told us that Yasiin went to NY? Could very well be that he was running with some other part of the Free People, so the person who wrote the note was highly likely a part of them if this truly was our Yasiin."
Biz lifts an eyebrow "What is Mos Def doing out here? Isn't it too dangerous for him?"
Kuniva corrects him "Nah... don't you remember what Krayzie said back in Cleveland? He's got powers too, you just haven't met him since after... ughh.." he holds his palm to his temple in pain.
Biz worried "You fine? Yeah... right right... So this holed up guy had some reason for being on this ship then? Weird... what was he planning?"
Eye-Kyu looks at Porter who's been studying the map of NY since you guys arrived at the ship "... You should eat something too... and get some rest, the road ahead probably won't get any easier..."

Porter nods "Yeah... I'm just worried about what the situation in the bay looks like, we need some way to cross it and we need to be hell a lot more cautious once we split up, since we'll only have two untouched traveling with us afterwards."

Eye-Kyu pats Porter on the shoulder "We'll worry about that once we get there... it's not like we know what's ahead... so don't plan ahead too much."

Porter smiles "Right right... Barry was there anything else you found out? What did this guy want to tell Yasiin? The radio can't have been the sole reason for his endeavor to get the ships electricity running? I mean he could've just found a radio tower or something else hoping for it to be intact, why this ship in particular?"

"Our missing suspect was trying to deliver this ship somewhere. Take a look at this," says Barry, laying the note in front of them.

D12 all take a look at the note together.

Kuniva confused "Hmm... why would he need such a large ship? It says south right?"
Eye-Kyu nods "Yeah south... and that he wanted to cross the bay, so he'd probably wanted to reach open waters... that's probably why that person needed a ship this large. And looks like Mos has some sort of ability similar to Elori I guess... ah... sorry Barry... we knew Yasiin under a different name in the past... I was refering to the sensing ability that this guys said Yasiin had"
Biz laughs "Yeah, met him back in the day around 2004, he introduced himself to me with his real name Dante, back when Hi-Tek was mixing our 'D12 World' Album, they were also working on a project together for some flick I believe. Smart guy."
Eye-Kyu reads through the note again "Contact HQ? And he had a distance of 35 miles... that means the Free People must have some sort of base around or inside NY right?"
Kuniva shakes his head "Or they HAD one... we don't know how old this note is... and Barry thinks that the guy who wrote it got dragged by something... he's right probably, else the ship wouldn't be here..."
Eye-Kyu follows up "Plus didn't the Free People at Mt. Pocono tell us that they don't have any troops inside NY anymore? Weird..."

You see the note being passed onto Porter, he starts reading "... sensing abiities and 'he' really is there... 'he'.." he get's stuck on this part, then he says "Oh...!" as if he realized something, you see his face turning pale and his eyes becoming glassy for a moment, then he holds his palm to his temple "Uuuuuurgh!!!" he screams in pain.

Tariq on the radio about to go to sleep hears the noise "What's going on???"

Porter makes a Constitution Saving Throw (d20): 5 Fails

You see Porter beginning to laugh maniacly.

All of D12 begin to hold their heads in pain, Kuniva and Eye-Kyu drop to their knees.Biz shouts with his eyes pinched "KNOCK HIM THE F*** OUT!!! FAST!!!"

Time passes as Fougere and Barry search through the ship. Odeon plays the song of rest as soon as everyone is in reach to give the wounded some comfort and lighten the mood as the darkness settles over the ship.

It's now night, 21.30pm, most of the interior of the ship is completely obscured, only some rays of the moonlight are shining through the windows on the sides of the survivor deck. One can still see their hand and feet on the top deck and bridge and if you look at the sky there's a vast uncountable amount of stars to be seen, it looks mesmerizingly beautiful with the violet veil shimmering below. The immediate surroundings are silent, no noise is to be heard, only far away in the direction you're guys are heading there are still flashes high above and muffled booming sounds errupting from time to time.

Kuniva looks up chilling outside on one of the railings ontop of the bridge "Wow... I've never seen the sky above NY like this..."
Biz who's sitting on the ledge, letting his legs hang over it while leaning against the railing "Damn... this is hard den a mug.."
Eye-Kyu walks up next to them "... fo sure... now that all the electricity is gone there's no light pollution... no cars driving around... this tranquility... one can truly enjoy the night sky..."
Biz smirks "The city that never sleeps huh... Well at least one good thing about this whole mess... what a view..."
Eye-Kyu looks at him "Makes you think... huh fam?"
Biz shakes his head "Nah... still rather be chillin' in my crib watching TV, able to order some food conveniently over UberEats... but stilll... it's a good experience..."

As you head back up and see Barry, Jeffrae get's restless inside you "Temachtia!" (Preach) Maseualtlalnamikilis! (Meditation/Thought)" it jumps out of Fougeres body and approaches Barry, as soon as it's in reach it stretches the fluid it consists of to form some kind of thin long finger pointing directly at Barry's ring which he tried to give Porter before to walk over the water, Fougere can hear Jeffrae uttering the word "okachi?" (More?) in an asking manner.

Not fully sure what Jeffrae means i agree to hear more/allow it to continue, while wondering why exactly this ring has sparked its attention.
