feel ya. yeah it was a little too "stuffy"
but yeah, need to rewatch myself as well.
Main part I want to rewatch is that sequence
Play a character they expected to look like Elliot page . I mean if you look at the woman or girl characters who have been “ protect this strong or special human “ it’s been Anna paquin in x men , Dakota fanning in man on fire , whatever that girl name was in 28 days later ( I need to check ) . Got to just pay them no mind on tik tok or on here . Their view won’t change even with the more they see
It’s just annoying cause she was barely in anything else either. I don’t get how you can hate someone so much you barely saw. People are lame.
Fan base so violent
I just feel like the Sarah actor has way more charisma bro whereas this mannerisms and facial expressions of this Ellie is just a cheetos fingers on an ipad screen playing roblox kid
I feel like she’s audibly saying GRRRRR when she’s angry

They have been waiting 10 years . Lol when they heard master chief helmet was coming off they was mad as s*** too

S***s wild never seen this many minor complaints for a show before

It’s perfect .
They show it afterwards in a behind the scene part after the episode. They go in detail the makeup for the clickers a little too.
I watched. they never said there's straight up no cgi. yes, some of the closeups are definitely practical (and look great); but there's some shots of the clicker's silhouette in the distance shifting and moving TOO well. brief, but I have a good eye for this type of s***.

I know you’re joking but some of these complaints are just brain dead dogshit

In the variety article they hired people they saw from YouTube that were dancers and fans of the game who mimicked clicker movement in a video

yeah thats what I figured.
yeah thats what I figured.
Druckmann: “ We look for movement actors that can replicate that movement, and we are very lucky that we found some actors that adore the game. When we saw Sam, our lead clicker, in a video, I remember this person moving like a clicker from the game. Not only that, I heard clicking sounds, as if they used a sound from the game as they’re doing it. But no, he was making the sounds of the clicker and then the video ends and he holds up a copy of the game and he says how he’s been a fan for so long. That’s another example of how we were surrounded by people who are just fans of the material and wanted to do it justice.”
KTT always reminds me though that some of the worst opinions you could ever hope to find will always exist on here
Seems the twitter clowns are really losing their mind over the switch up with Tess’ death lmao

What decides what’s valid or not valid. Compared to just “ this is trash “ “ this is bad “ “ f*** this” . People saying what’s working and what’s not for them that’s it

Complaining about Joel and Ellie not being close while they still weren’t in the game at this point isn’t valid. They’re judging their chemistry 2 episodes in at a spot in the game they weren’t close. Like damn let the series get further. Imagine dropping the game after the capitol. You wouldn’t see any chemistry between Joel and Ellie there either. That’s a s*** take.

Exactly 39 mins into the episode.
S*** look a little too smooth and I am Legendy
Not a complaint btw just an observation
That is basically the way I play every stealth game

I agreed but when I mentioned camera y’all jumped me
when they literally said they made it shaky on purpose and I’m simply saying it’s too shaky for me and doesn’t have a visceral gameplay feel again for me
:
"I think on the handheld side of things... handheld was discussed a lot. I mean most of the show is handheld, and there was a sort of visceral, grounded, organic reason for that. But we didn't want to be 100% beholden to that, so there are a few shots in my episodes that aren't handheld. That being said, I'd say 80, 90% is still handheld. And that just leans into that sort of organic, allow characters to move and push and pull you around."
"We didn't want to be too perfectly composed... We didn't want the camera to be too much of a character. We didn't want to be slowly pushing in on a big, important line. That just felt too cinematically contrived. We wanted the camera to sit back a little bit and be a bit more observational, and react, and be the audience, and occasionally make mistakes. So that style was very important to Craig, and like I said, Craig was the one who really we were beholden to in terms of the tone."

All I said was I didn’t really notice in episode 2. I didn’t think it was that bad but I agreed the cinematography could be better. I thought it improved in episode 2.
