What do you mean Joel Ellie and bill didn’t loot and disable traps for an hour, talk once every 5 minutes, and fight a special infected in a school and instead we got a fleshed out story of two characters of their entire love story post outbreak

Jan 31, 2023·edited·1 replyHaroldsChickenI don't get people concerns about the show catching up to the game when Last of Us 3 is likely in development if it is going to be made. If not then their timing is good. If it is going to be made Part 2 is going to be 2 seasons or like 18 episodes which will take 3-4 years to drop and cost budget wise.
I do think they should fill the gap between 1 and 2 some but thats partially becaue I don't like too many time skips without at least a montage of what happened.

No idea what they are gonna do…. But we do know they said “no intention of doing filler, going right to part 2”
It could have some timeline changes. Maybe Ellie is like 16 / 17 instead of 19? Who knows. But they getting right to it

lol the few years of what she looks like wont make a major difference in the story. Again she got a lot of plot to do in the season where 21-19 or 17 its all gonna look about the same her face isn't aging like that
