Yeah beyond cold opens I kinda dont give a s*** about anyone else about anyone but Joel and Ellie (and everyone they run into)

Without them its just another zombie apocalypse show and we've seen a million of those

No just Joel and Ellie and the people that surround them. You know the things that make TLOU TLOU. I dont care about some dude in Serbia or wherever.

To me so far it is just another Zombie Apocalypse show to me even with them but I get you. Again I think characters like them are much more unique to gaming than tv and film. Someone put it that there has been a lot of b****** with a heart of gold main characters and that is kind of Joel lol. Ellie character wise isn't crazy out there so far.

lol that makes the whole world have more weight to me but I get it. Also like the faces we have never seen before acting.

my hottest take is that Pedro hasn't really given us a whole lot yet to feel main character that we care about

Tbf this is the first episode that they will be alone for a decent amount so hopefully it changes that for you tonight

they both got to express just a lil more for me. So far kind of just dread on their side . Which obviously I get given the conditions but goodness.

Nope. Maybe MAYBE the last episode goes into part two but it would jus be a timeskip to the beginning of that game. Doubt it would need to do that though so you’re safe.

I'm trying to separate the game and the show as much as possible tbh

I mean I haven't played the game in 10 years. I am looking in terms of story based on this. It is fair to say Ellie and Joel haven't been given enough material yet to connect or show their characters outside of reaction to traumatic things.
