I also feel like ellie in the show is swearing way too much, that clip alone of ellie in the game is amazing

in this sense I can't compare to the game. the game is trying to be like a movie and the tv show is translating it 10 years later to be like a tv show. They not really trying to have the moment land this hard as much as many shows do have moments like this and to me it would improve it.

oh yeah here I think it would have been better than their dialogue about killing, shooting someone before but if it works for the tv audience then they never truly know what they are missing. The show has missed out on some moments of the game like this that I think for whatever reason landed better in the game
