“ Why is this show so sanitized? The action scenes so far have been so disappointing. I’m really not liking how they’re white washing characters and making the show so sterile when it comes to violence. This is f***ing HBO dude.

The Hunters where so scary in the game, the car ambush in Pittsburgh sticks with me even a DECADE after I played the game. I understand we can’t have Joel realistically kill 5-6 dudes in one encounter by himself in a live action show, but for the love of god man let him cave in someone’s skull with a brick or something like the games. Even AMC shows more than this.

And making the Hunters this cliche Walking Dead-like group of bad guys of the week who “oh they’re just people like our main characters” is really lame. Just robs them of the threat they were in the actual game.

I’m afraid they’re just going to make David and his cannibals be hippies or something.”
