Watched Zygote before this ep and that monster was basically the Rat King it’s awesome

It is episode 7 I am pretty sure. Their relationship just isn't going to feel the same as the game it is what it is. Partially due to us not seeing Ellie and Bill interactions, Ellie being angstier than game to Joel and plot got to keep moving. Ideally I don't know what they could or will do in remaining time that isn't overly hamfisted that bonds them.

Giraffe moment and final walk up to the hospital talk will have to hit. At this point though Ellie didn't tell Joel Henry was bit, Didn't tell Joel she took a gun, didn't tell Joel she killed an infected. So its like the lying itself will hit less for me but murdering doctors possibly looking for a cure will only fully land for me if they show a bit more of Marlene and fireflies. At this point though the idea of a cure, vaccine and fireflies so low that there is less grey ambiguity of if Joel did the right thing . Last of Us Game 1 spoilers

I never played left behind likely will play 1, left behind and 2 after show but when put like this it feels like at least one of these episodes is going to feel heavily rushed.

Is the movie good?

Yeah I dunno. It could just be my game blinders on but the connection between them doesnt hit at all yet. I know they WANT us to feel it but its still empty for me right now.

Same but I am glad others are f***ing with it. At this point for me personally I have accepted the ending won't hit as hard because for me its just not there. Sam and Henry connection I felt more in one episode than Ellie and Joel to many degrees. But Sam and Henry actors really are good at facial emotions. I am someone who kind of reads and focuses on facial emotions and Pedro / Bella lack that for me ( at least so far). Like even last of us game the facial reactions to each other what connected me personally. There is still time on the clock though I just don't know if there is a topic they can or will talk about that truly connects them.

Oh well. I hear District 10 might actually happen so that'll be nice.

District 9 doesn't demand a sequel but if it helps put him back on the map then cool I guess.
