It wasn't really the lack of infected that bothered me this episode. It was more so how quickly Riley and Ellie dealt with the infected. In the game, there were desperately running away and having close calls...running through the whole mall. This s\*\*\* was over in 20 seconds. Narratively nothing changed, but entertainment-wise it sucks they left all that out.

When they first showed the infected wake up I thought they were going to ramp up the tension in the background then begin something like a chase. I didn't finish the DLC before the episode tonight but as shaky as that camera was episode 2 clicker chase been the most tense thing. Show more drama so don't come in expecting those moments too much anymore its just different as will the ending and even episode 8\. They resolve situations fast where there could be some story telling through tension thriller like moments

Yeah the game was better in basically every way but I don't wanna rain on the parade so I'm just sitting back and enjoying it all for what it is

I'm glad the show was made and that people like it
