Not every video game adaptation is as serious as last of us . Some will lose points just for being goofier , unrealistic even if faithful . They all have value . A lot of video game plots even if executed faithfully and great won’t get critical acclaim unless they take it serious so cyberpunk edgerunners arcane and last of us mean nothing to something with a different tone

Add the Warcraft movie to the list of video game movies that are so bad it’s good, tbh I f*** with that s*** lol

Yeah I’m confused on what he even disliked about it to that degree . I understand being disappointed dissatisfied with it or calling it mid but acting like it shouldn’t exist when some show only and games fans loved it doesn’t make sense

Even then I hope they are more open to showing factions perspectives so entire episodes like bill and Frank but for each faction . Like a lot more world building rather than having to see everything from Joel and Ellie’s limited perspectives. More than just main character stories but see more of the moving pieces

Lol I said from beginning of season I wanted what was often considered filler to build out the world . So like episode 2 cold open . I mean we only got so much that established character or world but that’s my s***. I definitely as I been saying hope we see more notes , journal entries or audio logs visualized. I just like it better at cold opens because it’s better for my brain to process momentum wise than a bunch of time skips but both have value
