It’s moreso the series as a whole should’ve shown Ellie and Joel’s relationship more and I felt more time was devoted to side characters. What we seen in this final episode with them should’ve been shown through every episode. A whole 1 and 20 mins was devoted to side characters in that Bill episode. It just makes this finale seem rushed even though they pretty much showed exactly what happened at the end of the first game.

What the f*** would she do? They already teased the next game would show abbey reaching Santa Barbara… I can’t see anything they could even do to make her storyline interesting

Her arc kinda ended as wellwhen she let go of the revenge desire at the end of 3

And it’s very obvious from the show they’re not attached to Joel or Ellie and want to focus on stories they can tell within the world
