RT is based on how many people give above 60 or something while metacritic is based on the average rating of a select few supposedly reputable critics (source: my dad's obsessed with metacritic)

For months I've been trying to tell everyone itt that she is gonna kill it

So gamers were mad about the show changing things, and critics don't like that it doesn't change enough from the game lmaoo
And it's funny because one of the big reasons these adaptations usually don't work is because they don't respect the source material
Well then it's really no big deal then. This show is aimed at a general audience, so we're not the main target they're hoping to catch.
We already experienced the games, so we're marketing to others about the story with word of mouth marketing.
Halo was trying to do the same thing, but they thought making the show more generic would help.
