Are we finally ready to admit that Bella was miscast? She was okay as child Ellie but she doesn’t have the chops for adult Ellie. Also doesn’t have the charisma to anchor a show.

I believe it’s Ellie’s gun that she dropped but I could be wrong. Also the scene should payoff (idk tbh) in season 3 but yeah idk what that scene was even about like it didn’t amount to anything and it wasn’t in the game aswell

It was Ellie's gun but even then, that island sequence screams poor story structure. Maybe I'm wrong, and the setup and payoff spans across seasons, but it won't hit if the setup seems haphazard

And I understand in tv/film you wanna have your character be 3-dimensional and layered but idk she’s just not clicking for me. The romance side feels very forced and not realistic which sucks because you have an interesting conflict here of girl going lesbian but pregnant by ex boyfriend who’s still in the picture.
