I wouldn't be surprised if they could further advance that vaccine into having it administrated directly through smell and make gas bombs of it or something either.

considering we seeing rednecks in Jackson going out and doing just fine against killing hordes of zombies, I am sure people like the fireflies or WLF or whoever would fare even better considering how much they were able to progress their organizations until the REAL PROBLEM (people) f***ed them up.

well yeah they stay in a safe area. but people can survive in the apocalypse in a safe area without being immune.

if they have immunity and they feel tough aren’t they more likely to go fight zombies and get torn to shreds? like Ellie gets torn to shreds like 100 times as you try to make it through the game

Finding a cure is more important that Ellie's life. Lets be honest here.

Joel did what he did coz he just wanted another daughter..a second chance to save his daughter. He was selfish...nothing more.

Abby's dad wanted to find a cure to save humanity. Was it gonna work 100%? No one knows, but in the end Ellie was immune, and it seems that this is VERY rare since no one has heard of another immune person since Ellie.

  • Jun 29, 2020

plus to add more to that, Joel feel of redemption and saving Ellie has not only costed him his life, but has sent Ellie into full revenge mode that resulted on the death of ALOT of innocent people that didnt deserve it.

Ellie's life wouldve been better off as an experiment that could've saved humanity.

Yeah if they have immunity they are probably going to be able to save far more people and with more people their civilization would further grow

Like it’s not going to be be 100% instantly but a vaccine would gradually make things better

Nothing you said even made sense as a response to what I said

If they had immunity, they can still get murdered by zombies like Ellie does (the immune girl) throughout the game over and over

The real thing that would save the apoclapyse is some way to kill zombies safely without threat of getting torn to shreds, not immunity

bro, if they found immunity no one will get infected anymore...meaning the only problem now is killing off the already infected people, not getting worried they'll also get infected.

Yeah but the whole game the infected are killing people by tearing them to shreds

Wiping out zombies is now just as hard and just as likely to get your torn to shreds

Ellie is getting killed by zombies the whole game dude

If anything people are better off staying away from zombies if they can’t kill them safely without threat of getting your head torn off or neck ripped open by zombie teeth lmao

But the zombies would continue to kill Humans by ripping their throats out or tearing their guts out or whatever happens throughout the game over and over

Most of the world is zombies now... we would still need some safe way to exterminate them without getting torn to bits, because the zombies way out number the few survivors of the apocalypse

True, but the infected population will no longer increase.

Just a matter of time before they are all wiped out if everybody becomes immune.

The problem will be the people fighting between themselves like the WLFs and Seraphites...but the infected will no longer be a big issue.

Groups like on Jackson, or WLFs, or even seraphites are strong enough to fight the infected and get rid of them from their cities and states.

Ofcourse some will die, but eventually the infected would get wiped out.

There are millions of infected and it’s just as likely to get you killed if you’re immune or not because the threat is primarily you getting torn up

Most of the world is zombies and there are few survivors, I can’t see how in this scenario it’s safe for them to take on all those zombies if the main threat is getting torn up and killed

wouldn’t they run out of supplies though? There are no more industries or production of military stuff.

Yeah they’d continue to kill humans

As they have been doing anyway

Yet a lot of people are still able to survive as they are now

Like I said, it would take decades. But if they just continue safely patrolling around and picking off zombies, the zombies would always decrease rather than increase like they have been

But it seems like mostly they survive because they try to stay away from zombies. If they go out with the mission to kill, they’re not less likely to die, right?

they just feel more powerful because of the immunity... but I think they’d probably get killed by some crazy horde or one of the special infected

    They don’t stay away tho

They patrol around and pick off zombies near their area

They’re not gonna do dumb s*** just cuz they’re immune lol. If anything immunity will likely cause more unity among the factions and they’ll all team up together to develop even better strategies in survival

last of us pt 3, Ellie dies in the beginning so a cure can be created. It works and a cure is dispersed. factions start teaming up and taking out more zombies, making the west coast safer. but they need more supplies so they venture east and are torn to shreds by a horde. The end, everyone’s dead

And Joel’s ass made that decision for Ellie
We already know she would still wanted to do the surgery despite it being fatal.

eh if my 14 year old daughter was like “mommy and daddy I wanna die for a cause I believe in” I’d be like ehhhh maybe let’s rethink this when you’re older
