I think the next game need to move to another country and have a new protagonist. It also gives them a chance to make a new variant of infected that's mutated by a different region. Could also introduce that it's another person that's immune and that person actually already is a part of the antagonist faction, run it or it could be the protagonist.

Since Neil Druckmann said they think it maybe impossible to continue the story with the same characters. I think the next game need to move to another country and have a new protagonist. It also gives them a chance to make a new variant of infected that's mutated by a different region. Could also introduce that it's another person that's immune and that person actually already is a part of the antagonist faction, run it or it could be the protagonist.

I want a new IPI always have been interested with how the rest of the world is doing with this outbreak. I don't remember ever seeing a artific that mentions how the rest of the world is.
I would love to see how Europe, Russia, Asia, and Australia is doing during the pandemic. We may finally get infected animals. Like imagine if it's a part in Britain where infected crows are trying to attack you but they're weakness is light.

I feel like since they're connected it could be easily all fit into a similar cross country style the first game had. You jump through seasons as you go through each continent. We get to see how nature started to take back parts of the countries and how the infected has mutated to each region. Like in Asian the cordycep could have mutated into a glowing fungus due to Asian becoming more wet and swampy or there's a version of the bloater that has mutated to deal with the colder weather of Russia. Could bring in infected dogs that work with runners and a new form of clickers, these dogs use their tongue to to see and smell.
Could be interesting.
